TERRE HAUTE — Kyle Kempf had three hits and was part of three rallies and Tommy Strunc pitched seven strong innings Thursday as the Terre Haute REX beat the Danville Dans 6-2 in Prospect League baseball.

The same two teams play again tonight at Danville.

Strunc scattered six hits in seven innings and took a shutout into the bottom of the seventh, when Danville’s Bradley Roney hit a two-run homer. Billy Timmerman added two innings of hitless relief for the REX....
